Electronic Gulden

There is extra news. Our project is not unique. We manage just one of the coins with the purpose to serve a specific community. If the community asked for it is another matter, but if cryptocurrency is to serve as a peer to peer cash network, extending Bitcoin to local communities is very logic.
We reached out to other teams and we received enthusiastic response. We decided to join forces which resulted to https://communitycoins.org. Just have a look what we are concocting there.

Last but not least: AtomicDex
AtomicDex is a decentral exchange. The order book of AtomicDex is distributed on a peer2peer network (mm2), somewhat comparable to the way core wallets communicate between each other, this time to exchange markt orders instead of transactions. The computers of both market maker and market taker must be online to exchange Peer2Peer through atomic crosschain swaps. A convenient feature of AtomicDex is that it features a light wallet for the coins involved.

Freiexchange is a new name for the eGulden community!
Due to the decent and non-commercial attitude of the freicoin team, Freicoin struggled to maintain exchange positions and it is a logic step for keen developers to setup an exchange themselves. The Freicointeam decides which coins they list without asking a listing fee. Through our initiatives in the area of communitycoins.org eGulden came on the radar and in fact the main communitycoins are now listed on freiexchange.


What is the situation at Unnamed Exchange?
Unnamed had some bad performance for a while. Particularly withdrawals of several coins faltered and the reputation of Unnamed was damaged. The performance of EFL and it's withdrawal never caused any problems and currently the performance of unnamed seems back to normal.

What happened to Altilly?
Altilly is the exchange that invited some of the coins that lost their position after the death of Cryptopia. Regretfully, after a successful period they underwent the same fate.

What happend to Folgory?
Folgory presented a listing offer in 2020 at a moment when we just lost another listing: Guldentrader stopped operations due to expensive registration requirements. Folgory was young at that time and presented a favorable proposition. Folgory proved to be very unreliable. They didn't meet their obligations, had bad security practices and gave no support. That's why we decided to stop promoting Folgory but we cannot stop Folgory from keeping EFL in their portfolio.

Last year eGulden was tradable on three exchanges: Altilly, Folgory and Unnamed. It still is except Altilly is gone, Folgory is no longer promoted by the Electronic Gulden Foundation and two other exchanges took their place: FreiExchange and AtomicDex
